Anthony Human, DO
Dr. Anthony Human is a Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Spine Physician. He is board certified in Primary Care and completed a Sports Medicine fellowship and an Interventional Spine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr.Human graduated from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences School of Medicine in 2002 and completed his internship and residency at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. During his training at the Cleveland Clinic, he trained under the guidance of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Medicine physicians for the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians, which provided him tremendous experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries and Interventional techniques to treat the Spine. He also spent time receiving additional specialized training in sports medicine working with the Cleveland Browns, Akron University and Kent State University sports teams, as well as being a Ring-side physician for King of the Cage Mixed Martial Arts.
Dr. Human is a former Division I collegiate wrestler, Amateur MMA fighter, and competitive bodybuilder. Dr. Human’s primary focuses are injuries to the bones, joints, muscles, tendons, and spine. Dr. Human specializes in non-surgical interventions for spine injuries, such as Epidural Steroid injection, Facet joint injections, nerve blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, and radiofrequency ablation. Dr. Human uses PRP (platelet rich plasma injections), as well as stem cells to promote soft tissue healing. Dr. Human has treated a number of professional, college and amateur athletes. He is actively involved in several sports medicine, spine, and healthcare organizations. When he’s not working, he enjoys working out, spending time with family, and eating out.
